Launched in 2011 and successfully landing on the surface of Mars in 2012, NASA’s Curiosity rover has been one of the most successful missions to explore the Red Planet. With its mission to search for evidence of ancient life and study the geology of Mars, Curiosity has brought back a wealth of important data, opening up many remarkable discoveries about the planet’s past and potential.
